Bob Zimmer MP announces a $1.2 million contribution from the Government of Canada to the City of Fort St. John through the Gas Tax Fund transfer. Residents and businesses throughout the District of Houston will have reliable access to clean drinking water thanks to a $3 million contribution from the Government of Canada through the Gas Tax Fund transfer. The project will see the construction of a water treatment facility to improve the community’s drinking water by reducing iron and manganese levels.

MP Zimmer and MP Harris co-hosted a Prince George Reception on Parliament Hill to celebrate the City and the important economic impact Northern BC is having on the Canadian economy. Several Prince George community leaders were also in Ottawa to attend various meetings and promote Prince George.

The Games were comprised of three teams representing the respective parties participating in a 30 minute round of jeopardy style quizzing about the brain and the contributions being made by Canadian scientists to this field.
