MP Zimmer and Local Mayors Meet with Honourable Rona Ambrose

OTTAWA – Today, Bob Zimmer, Member of Parliament for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, continued to host local representatives in Ottawa to promote BC LNG. This included meeting with the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Leader of the Official Opposition.

“Ms. Ambrose continues to voice her strong support for those workers affected by the uncertainty surrounding BC LNG and low energy prices,” said Mr. Zimmer. “I am pleased that our local mayors were able to meet with her to discuss the importance of the industry to our region.”

Mr. Zimmer was once again happy to work with local representatives Northern Rockies Regional Municipality Mayor Bill Streeper, Dawson Creek Acting Mayor Charlie Parslow, Fort St. John Mayor Lori Ackerman, District of Tumbler Ridge Mayor Don McPherson, and District of Taylor Mayor Rob Fraser to promote the importance of BC LNG to our region and to Canada.
