OTTAWA – Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies MP, Bob Zimmer is pleased that Western Economic Diversification Canada has announced a contribution of up to $377,000 for the City of Prince George today.
The Government of Canada is investing in the City of Prince George through the Canada 150 Infrastructure Fund. The funding will be used to update the existing picnic area as well as create a pavilion in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park with the City of Prince George matching donations.
“Congratulations to the City of Prince George on the success of their application for this funding, I’m happy to see that this money is going to projects like this,” said Mr. Zimmer. This park will help to keep Prince George beautiful, growing, and continuing as the family-friendly community that it has always been.”
